PDI was called upon for both EMC and product safety compliance mitigation when this rack-mounted PDU destined for the legendary Jet Propulsion Lab failed testing for both. With some modest redesign, PDI was successful in achieving full compliance for the product, which incorporated a large toroidal isolation transformer and extensive remote metering and switching facilities.
