I began programming embedded controllers in the early 1980's, using 4-bit processors. Millions of products incorporating microcontrollers running my code have been produced and sold. Thanks to my extensive musical instrument, industrial control, and interactive toy development experience I'm no stranger to real-time requirements, from digitization of the real-time performance data of over 100 networked pressure sensors to multiple articulation detection via DSP on 5 simultaneous audio streams using a single low-cost 16-bit MCU.
