DIGI-FRAME INTRODUCES HIGH-END LARGE-FORMAT DIGITAL PICTURE FRAMES

Digi-Frame Meets the Increasing Demand for Digital Picture Frames with Larger Screens and State of the Art Technology

PORT CHESTER, NY— Digi-Frame Inc., the leading provider of digital picture frame technology, today introduced its full-featured DF-1040 and DF-1800 large-format digital picture frames. Boasting diagonal screen sizes of 10.4 and 18 inches respectively, these ground-breaking new products are designed to meet the increasing demand for larger displays in both consumer and commercial markets. They include such advanced features as LAN connectivity, optional hard disk and CD-ROM storage, music/audio playback, wall mounting, remote control, universal frame compatibility, and much more.

"The DF-1040 and DF-1800 address the needs of corporate, professional, governmental and institutional users, as well as those of high-end consumers," says Jerry Klein, vice president of sales and marketing for Digi-Frame. "With their impressive large wide-angle screens, ethernet LAN connection, and virtually unlimited image capacity, they create countless new applications for digital image displays, from sophisticated homes to art galleries to in-store advertising to business presentation and training. By connecting these products to a local or wide-area network, their internally-stored images can be updated remotely from computers within the home, an office, or from anywhere in the world. For those who don’t need or want a networked device, we’ve retained the simplicity and ease of use of our current DF-560 and DF-390 models – you can still view your digital pictures instantly by just removing a CompactFlash™, SmartMedia™, or MicroDrive™ memory card from your digital camera and putting it into the Digi-Frame™".

Recognizing that users don’t want to be limited in framing choices, Digi-Frame’s exclusive patent-pending universal frame mounting system accepts standard frames from any store or frame shop, allowing users to match their décor or styling requirements. The DF-1040 incorporates a rotating stand for desktop or countertop use, and both models can be wall-mounted vertically or horizontally. Handheld wireless remote controls facilitate armchair picture browsing and business presentations, while audio storage and playback can provide music or voice accompaniment to slide shows.

Availability is slated for Q3 2001, at projected manufacturer’s suggested retail prices of $899 and $2,499 for the DF-1040 and DF-1800, respectively.
